Habits of Mind

Students who are inquisitive and used to solving problems and working with others also tend to share certain "habits of mind," or ways of thinking. Project-based learning gives students the chance to develop and practice these habits of mind, which can benefit students throughout their lives.

How many habits of mind would you recognize if you saw them in action? Match each habit of mind with the behavior that best represents it. Click and drag each term in the right column to the statement it describes best. When you’re done, click Check Answers to see how you did.
