Implementing Project-Based Learning

In the Introduction to Project-Based Learning, you explored the steps of a project from start to finish, from developing a driving question to Showtime. You also reviewed how a special kind of project-based learning — civic learning and engagement — can help youth to become more active members of a democratic society.

In the Implementation section, you will focus on strategies to help you plan and do high-quality projects with youth of all ages. You will learn

  • How to be a coach, guide and facilitator
  • Approaches for working with younger and older youth
  • Strategies for planning a project timeline
  • How to think locally while acting globally
