Demonstrate and Document Learning

Coach's Commentary

How will youth show what they’ve learned? How will you document it?

Projects are about learning by doing, and youth demonstrating their new skills and learning.

Learning may be demonstrated by final events or products produced by participants. But demonstration of learning shouldn’t wait until the end. Learning should be happening — and shown — along the way.

Document learning to provide schools, families, funders and others evidence of youth growth and achievement. Portfolios, survey data, logs and checklists help document achievement.
