We’re excited to introduce Y4Y’s Training and Technical Assistance Team! Some of you may have met our team members at Y4Y trainings and conference presentations for 21st CCLC programs. We look forward to getting to know you better as we support your work in 2015. Here are a few tidbits about us.

Jessica Chung, Lead Training Specialist
Jess has designed and delivered professional development for educators from higher education to out-of-school time learning environments. She also served as an AmeriCorps VISTA and VISTA Leader in Michigan and New Jersey, respectively. Jess earned her master’s in Educational Administration from the University of Michigan.

Monique McDowell-Russell, Lead Education Specialist
Monique has extensive experience managing, directing, and providing oversight for elementary, secondary, and adult education programs. She also taught courses in public administration as an adjunct professor in New York City. Monique earned her master’s in Administration from Audrey Cohen College.

Tania Lazar, Training Specialist
Tania has provided high-quality training and technical assistance to thousands of out-of-school time professionals, drawing on her experiences as a Program Officer with New Jersey After 3, a fifth-grade teacher, and an AmeriCorps member for a Family Friendly Center/America's Read program. Tania earned her master’s in Teaching from Monmouth University.

Judy Ha, Education Specialist
Judy has been an educator and program administrator for a plethora of projects, including curriculum development in youth leadership and social justice and fundraising for nonprofit community organizations. Before joining Y4Y, she taught middle school English as a second language and social studies in the Philadelphia area and was Assistant Director of Asian Americans United. Judy earned her master’s in Multicultural Education from Eastern University.
